Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (By Road 205 Kms) (05-06 Hrs)
Delhi – Haridwar

Morning we will pick you up from airport / local address and drive to Haridwar.

Haridwar: Nestled in the foothills of Shivaliks, Haridwar is a holy place located in Uttarakhand state in India. According to the legend, it is the place where Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath executed sacrament to save his ancestors souls who had rotten because of the nuisance of sage Kapila. Thus, River Ganga dropped on the earth from the locks of Lord Shiva and the holy water of Ganga River rejuvenated the sixty thousand sons of king Sagara. Today, thousands of Hindu devotees visit this place to take a holy dip in Ganga River for salvation of their deceased close ones.

Day 02: Haridwar – Guptkashi (223 Kms Drive)
Haridwar – Guptkashi

We will start our day a bit early in the morning and get ready to drive to Guptkashi. On the way, we will stop for lunch and thereafter, we will continue our drive to Guptkashi. On reaching, check in at the pre-booked hotel. The evening is free for visit to Kashi Vishwnath Temple. you can go for a leisure walk while exploring the beautiful surroundings. Take pleasure of an overnight stay in the hotel in Guptkashi.

Guptakashi  is situated within the Mandakini river valley in the Northern Himalayan range. Located at a height of 1,319 meters (4,330 ft), the place is blessed with salubrious climate. One can witness the stunning views of snow-covered Chaukhamba peak during the morning hours. Also, large magnolia trees locally named as Champa can be seen in the valley. These trees are famous for its sweet scented smell.

Day 03: Guptkashi – Kedarnarh – Gupkashi (By Helicopter)
Guptkashi – Kedarnarh – Gupkashi

Post an early morning breakfast (7 AM), get escorted to the helipad to board the helicopter ride to Kedarnath. On arrival at Kedarnath, have Darshan and perform pooja at Kedarnath temple. Later, return to the helipad from where the helicopter-in-waiting will take you back to Guptkashi. .

Day 04: Guptkashi – Sri Badrinath (158 Kms)
Guptkashi – Sri Badrinath

Post an early morning breakfast, hit the road to Badrinath. En route halt at Jyotirmath and explore Narsimha temple and Sankracharya seat. On arrival in Badrinath, savor your lunch followed by excursion to Mana village (Badrinath temple is closed from 12 noon to 3 pm). Do darshan at Badrinath temple in the evening.

Day 05 : Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 Kms) (05 Hrs)

Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Later drive back to Rudraprayag  via Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.

Joshimath is situated on the slopes above the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Of the four ‘Maths’ established by Adi Shankaracharya, Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath. The idol is brought down to Joshimath and installed in the temple for people to worship. There are many other temples in the township. The most important is the temple of Nir Singh with the idol of Lord Vishnu. The left arm of this deity is getting destroyed with time and the popular belief holds that the day the arm completely withers Badrinath valley will cease to exist and the Gods will transfer the residence into the neighboring Niti Valley at Bhavishya Badri.

Day 06: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (145 Kms) (04 Hrs)
Rudraprayag – Rishikesh

Early morning, drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival check into hotel. Later visit the below places.

Bharat Mandir Built by Adiguru Shankra Charya around 12th century, Bharat Mandir is situated in the heart of the old town on the banks of the Ganges. The Inner sanctum of the temple has the idol of Lord Vishnu, carved out of a single Saligram. In the inner canopy above the idol is Shree Yantra installed by Adi Sankraya Charya.

Ram Jhula is situated 3 Km north of Rishikesh, Is an iron suspension bridge. It is made over river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh. Ram Jhula has been added recentlyconstructed between Shivananda Ashram and Sawargashram. The fresh air and sound of flowing water, the scenic beauty of the region can be seen from the bridge.

Lakshman Jhula – Laxman Jhula – Laxman Jhoola, – is a 450 feet long an iron suspension bridge situated in Rishikesh in Indian state of Uttarakhand. Lakshman Jhula is one of the most prominent landmarks at Rishikesh. It is made over river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh. It is said that Lakshman crossed Ganges on jute ropes between the place where this bridge is built. Lakshman Jhula was built in 1939.

There are spectacular views from the bridge.
