This park has a large biodiversity. The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is one of the highest known in India. The park has a large breeding population of Leopards, and various species of deer. Maharaja Martand Singh of Rewa captured the first white tiger in this region in 1951. This white tiger, Mohan, is now stuffed and on display in the palace of the Maharajas of Rewa.

After breakfast, drive to Kanha Tiger Reserve. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Kanha National Park is home to over 200 species of flowering plants. The lowland forest is a mixture of (Shorea robusta) and other mixed forest trees, interspersed with meadows. The highland forests are the tropical moist dry deciduous type and of a completely different nature with bamboo on slopes (Dendrocalamus strictus). A very good looking Indian ghost tree (Kullu) can also be seen in the dense forest.
