DAY 01 : SUNDAY, DEPARTURE FROM DELHI.

The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels starts its journey every Sunday evening from New Delhi, on arrival passengers receive a traditional Indian ceremonial welcome, and are escorted to their cabins by the attendants. The evening is at leisure to get to know the train and your fellow passengers.

  • 4:00 PM : Welcome on arrival at safdarjung railway station .
  • 9:00 PM : Departure for jodhpur .
  • 8:00 PM : Dinner on board.

DAY-02 : MONDAY, SIGHTSEEING IN JODHPUR

After the breakfast on board and arrival at railway station you will start exploring Jodhpur , the Blue city, and the second largest city of Rajasthan. Sightseeing in Jodhpur includes a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort, and the Jaswant Thada. Here you get time to explore Jodhpur on your own, and get time for exquisite handicraft articles including the famous breeches, embroidered shoes, metal curios, silverware, paintings and tie and dye fabrics.

  • 7:30 AM : Breakfast on board.
  • 8:00 AM : Arrival at Jodhpur .
  • 9:00 AM : Welcome and departure for sightseeing for Jaswant Thada, Mehran Garh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Shopping .
  • 1:15 PM : Lunch at 5 Star/ Palace hotel.
  • 3:30 PM : Arrival at Royal Rajasthan On wheels .
  • 4:30 PM : Departure for Udaipur .
  • 8:00 PM : Dinner on board.

DAY-03 : TUESDAY, SIGHTSEEING IN UDAIPUR AND CHITTORGARH

In the morning, the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels arrives in to Udaipur, the Lake City, also known as the Venice of the East. Sightseeing in Udaipur includes a visit to the City Palace, Lake Pichola , and the Lake Palace. You will also visit the Crystal gallery, famous for its collection of crystal glass furniture, crockery and chandeliers. Your train then departs for Chittorgar.

On arrival in Chittorgarh, visit the Chittorgarh Fort. Set atop a hill, covering an area of almost 70 acres, the Chittorgarh Fort is among the largest and grandest forts of Rajasthan. Sightseeing includes a Sound & Light show at the Chittorgarh Fort.

  • 0700 HRS: Arrival in Udaipur
  • 0730 HRS: Breakfast aboard the train
  • 0830 HRS: Sightseeing trip across Sahelion ki Baari, City Palace, and boat ride on the Lake Pichola
  • 1230 HRS: Lunch at a 5 star palace hotel
  • 1415 HRS: Return back to the train and depart for Chittorgarh
  • 1645 HRS: Sightseeing across Chittorgarh Fort

DAY-04 : WEDNESDAY, TIGER SAFARI IN RANTHAMBORE AND SIGHTSEEING IN JAIPUR

This morning, the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels arrives in to Sawai Madhopur, the railway station for the Ranthambore National Park. The Ranthambore National Park is one of India’s Project Tiger Reserves, and one of the best places in India to see the majestic Royal Bengal Tigers in the Wild. Touring here includes a visit to a Ranthambore Fort and a Tiger Safari into the National Park. In addition to the Tigers, the Park is also home to more than 300 species of birds, and dozens of species of other small and large animals including Deer, Hyena, Jackal etc. After the safari, you return to the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, and then depart for Jaipur.

Your luxury train then arrives into Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, popularly known as the Pink city. Sightseeing in Jaipur includes visits to the City Palace (part of which is still the residence of the Royal family of Jaipur), Jantar Mantar (the Observatory, which is now a World Heritage site), the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), and the Amber Fort, where you climb the fort on bedecked Elephants.

DAY-05 : THURSDAY, SIGHTSEEING IN KHAJURAHO

The next stop of your Royal Rajasthan on wheels is Khajuraho, famous for it’s ancient Chandela Temples. The Khajuraho temples, which are a World Heritage site, are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain Tirthnkras and they showcase the art and architecture of medieval India. Sightseeing in Khajuraho includes visits to the Temples, and an evening Sound and Light show.

  • 0800 HRS: Breakfast aboard the train.
  • 1000 HRS: Arrival in Khajuraho and exploration of the western group of temples.
  • 1300 HRS: Lunch at a 5 star palace hotel.
  • 1430 HRS: Exploration of the southern group of temples.
  • 1700 HRS: Return to the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels for tea and refreshments.
  • 1800 HRS: Light and Sound Show.

DAY-06 : FRIDAY, SIGHTSEEING IN VARANASI

As you wake up this morning, the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels arrives in to Varanasi. Set on the banks of the river Ganges, Varanasi is said to be the oldest city of the world and is also considered to be the holiest city in the world. The city has a history that is almost 3000 years old , and has been a symbol of spiritualism, philosophy & mysticism. Sightseeing in Varanasi, includes visits to the Ghats, Maha Aarti, temples & Buddhist Temples at Sarnath.

  • 0600 HRS: Arrival in Varanasi Departure for boat ride in the River Ganga and exploration of city attractions
  • 0900 HRS: Return to the train for breakfast
  • 1000 HRS: Depart for Sarnath
  • 1300 HRS: Lunch in a city hotel
  • 1430 HRS: Return to the train for some rest and relaxation
  • 1600 HRS: Leave for visiting the Varanasi ghats and the local markets
  • 1930 HRS: Post evening Aarti on the River banks, return to the train

DAY-07 : SATURDAY, SIGHTSEEING IN AGRA

The final destination of the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, is Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Sightseeing in Agra, includes a visit to the Agra Fort, followed by the Taj Mahal, a pristine monument of undying love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal.

  • 1000 HRS: Arrival in Agra Cantonment
  • 1015 HRS: Leave for city tour across Agra Fort etc
  • 1215 HRS: Lunch at 5 star hotel
  • 1415 HRS: Exploration of Taj Mahal and the Agra markets

  • 0730 HRS: Check out and farewell to all guests

  • 4.50% Service Tax will be extra as applicable.
  • US$ 15 per pax commerical tax as applicable.
  • 50% of the prevailing tariff will be charged for the children between 05-12 years of age
  • 10% of the prevailing tariff will be charged for the children below 05 years.
  • The tariff structure for the guests having Indian Indentity proof (Passport/Voter ID/Aadhaar/ will be applicable.

BOOKING POLICY
  • 30% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
  • Remaining 80% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
CANCELLATION POLICY
  • 5% of ticket value 60 days or more prior to departure.
  • 20% of ticket value between 59 to 16 days prior to departure.
  • 100% of ticket value 15 days prior to departure.
NO SHOW/ EN ROUTE TERMINATION OF TOUR/AMENDMENT:
  • No Show – In case of No Show / Non-arrival of the guest, no refund or adjustment in future travel will be possible. The whole amount shall be treated as forfeited.
  • En route termination of tour – In case of termination of tour by the guest, for any reasons, no refund or adjustment for future travel will be possible. The amount for unused portion of the tour shall be treated as forfeited.
  • Amendment – Is only possible under the circumstances like Natural Disaster / Natural Calamity or Serious Health Problem’s (this needs to be supported by doctor’s certificate) and is subject to availability. No refunds are possible and every case will be decided on merits on a case to case basis. No amendment will be permissible in case of booking of groups or complete train
